This will be long, but I was disappointed with the ring. I will go into detail.
Dislike: I like the design, but it feels a little flimsy. A band on the bottom (wider) part of the ring to support the designed band would help a lot. My fear is that deformation is easy due to a lack of support, and it doesn't look great hollow there either. Sadly the ring arrived with some damage to 2 of the circle bits which is very disappointing. Lastly, I didn't expect the ring to be so rotund? It doesn't look so squat on the pictures, I thought it'd be taller rather than wider. I did order the wrong size on accident so possibly this contributes, that is my fault.
I think the ring should either be taller to elongate and accentuate the column horseshoe core design, or be squished down. Which is to say, make more squat and bulge further in the center, and replace the bottom design with the thinner top. I don't know if there are manufacturing difficulties or structural weaknesses in doing so, but I think it'd be a more interesting design. Lastly, if the interior supports were a different color I think the 3D layering of the ring would stand out more. A gold color would contrast well, though I don't think I'd want actual gold. Perhaps bronze?
